About Dr. Sun
Dr. Alice Sun is a therapeutic optometrist with glaucoma certification, trained in the treatment and management of eye diseases, specialty contact lenses, pediatrics, and the care of patients before and after surgery.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at UC San Diego, where she volunteered in hospitals across the city and joined medical trips to El Salvador to care for underserved communities. Those trips are where she found her calling, and she went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry at the New England College of Optometry in Boston.
Early in her career Dr. Sun practiced in Beverly Hills, building close working relationships with leading ophthalmologists and specialists that her patients still benefit from today.
A true Southern Californian, she spends her free time exploring Los Angeles for new cuisines, practicing yoga, hiking, and playing the piano.
