Before your visit
What should I bring to my appointment?
A government issued ID, a list of your medications and supplements, your current and old glasses including sunglasses, and your contact lens boxes or previous prescription. If you wear contacts, wear them to the exam.
Where can I park?
Public Parking Structure 1 at 1234 4th St and Structure 5 at 1444 4th St are steps away, with metered spots in front of Chase Bank and behind Bank of America at 1320 5th St. Allow a few extra minutes at peak hours.
Which insurance plans do you accept?
Open access provider. We participate with VSP and Medicare (PPO only), and help you file for reimbursement from most other vision plans. FSA and HSA welcome.
How much does an exam cost?
It depends on the services your eyes need and your benefits. Our team is happy to review your insurance before your visit. Copays and professional fees are due at the time of service, and you can now pay any balance online from your patient account.
What if I need to cancel?
Please give us at least 24 hours notice. Late cancellations and no-shows carry an $85 fee, which is why we hold a card on file when you book online. You can reschedule or cancel yourself from your patient account.
How long do contacts and glasses take?
Most contact lenses arrive within 5 days of ordering, and prescription glasses within 14 days depending on the prescription. We let you know the moment they are ready.
Store policies, warranty and privacy
All sales are final. Because eyewear is custom made, eyewear and eyecare products cannot be returned or exchanged. Orders require full payment and cannot be changed once submitted.
Adapting to new lenses. New glasses can take days or weeks to feel natural. If you cannot adapt to progressives, we will exchange them for another lens type; the price difference is non-refundable.
Professional services, including copays, are due in full at the time of service and are non-refundable.
No-show and late cancellation. Please give 24 hours notice. A fee of $85 applies to no-shows and late cancellations and cannot be billed to insurance. Two missed appointments may limit future scheduling.
Limited manufacturer warranty. Frames and lenses are covered against manufacturing defects for one year from purchase, with a $50 shipping and processing charge. Scratches, breakage, loss and accidental damage are not covered.
Your own frames. We are happy to reuse your eyewear with a signed waiver, and are not liable for damage to patient-supplied frames.
Special orders require a $50 non-refundable fee applied to the purchase, forfeited if not purchased within 14 days of delivery.
